Gasunie Deutschland has its own management system to ensure safety, health, environmental protection and quality standards throughout the company. We have the quality of these systems checked by independent bodies. The issue of information security is becoming increasingly important in this context.
Certificates prove high quality
Das Zertifikat DVGW TSM bescheinigt uns, dass wir die Anforderungen an die Qualifikation und Organisation von Unternehmen für den Betrieb von Anlagen zur Gasversorgung erfüllen.
Audit certifies IT security
At the end of 2017, Gasunie Deutschland was officially certified according to the IT security catalog of the BNetzA, which is mandatory for all network operators. The certification covers all IT systems that are necessary to ensure secure network operation. We have set up a comprehensive information security management system (ISMS) based on the international standards ISO 27001, ISO 27002 and ISO 27019.
To ensure that the high standard we have now achieved is maintained in the future, annual monitoring audits are carried out by an external company. In addition, a re-certification audit takes place every three years, in which the ISMS is again fully audited.
