Information about the tariff structure of Gasunie Deutschland Transport Services GmbH as of 01.01.2021 until 30.09.2021 for the market area GASPOOL and as of 01.10.2021 until 31.12.2021 for the market area Trading Hub Europe being orderable network Points

Gasunie Deutschland Transport Services GmbH (GUD) as TSO publishes the capacity charge for grid access for the first three quarters of the calendar year 2021 for the market area GASPOOL as well as for the fourth quarter 2021 for the market area Trading Hub Europe (“THE”), which are valid at all orderable network points.

Due to regulatory requirements (decisions “REGENT-GP” (BK9-18/611-GP) and “AMELIE”(BK9-18/607)), a postage stamp RPM is in place since 01.01.2020 and reference prices of GUD have been calculated accordingly. For the new German Market area Trading Hub Europe (“THE”) two new decisions REGENT 2021 (BK9-19/610) and AMELIE (BK9-19/607) were enacted by the BNetzA. However, the previous regulatory requirements REGENT and AMELIE have been appealed by third parties. The Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf rejected the appeal on 16th September 2020. However, at the time of the publication of this tariff information, it is still possible to lodge an appeal against this decision. Therefore it cannot be excluded that in the course of and as a result of these legal disputes or any further future possible appeals the regulatory requirements could be changed and thus the reference prices could be increased both for the future and retroactively. This is why GUD reserves the right to amend the reserve prices on the basis of legal / regulatory decisions. In addition, GUD reserves the right to request the difference between the reference price paid by the shipper and the new reference price established on the basis of a legal / regulatory decision.

The capacity charge for orderable firm flexible allocable exit capacities for the first three quarters of 2021 for the market area GASPOOL amounts to:

3.32 [€/(kWh/h)/a]

The capacity charge for orderable firm flexible allocable exit capacities for the fourth quarter of 2021 for the market area THE amounts to:

3.80 [€/(kWh/h)/a]

According to BEATE 2.0 (BK9-18/608) the interruptible capacity charge is ninety (90) percent of the capacity charge for orderable firm flexible allocable exit capacities.

The BNetzA started the consultation process for BEATE 2.0 (BK9-20/608) in the 23rd September 2020. The draft proposes to change the security surcharge for interruptible capacity at all network points in the H-Gas transmission system from 01. October 2021 on to twenty (20) percent. No final decision was taken yet. Therefore a subsequent adjustment of the security surcharge based on regulatory decisions might be possible for the fourth quarter 2021.
