Gasunie Deutschland Transport Services GmbH introduces competitive marketing at the storage points UGS Jemgum EWE and UGS Nuettermoor
On 21 June 2023, GUD submitted an application for the introduction of competitive marketing for firm, freely allocable capacity (FZK) at the storage points UGS Jemgum EWE and UGS Nüttermoor to the Bundesnetzagentur (BNetzA). This is GUD's response to recurring customer enquiries. At the same time, GUD sees competitive marketing as a step towards a more demand-orientated capacity allocation.
The BNetzA approved this application on 18 October 2023 (BK7-23-069). Starting with the day-ahead auction on 30 November 2023 for gas day 1 December 2023, GUD will introduce competitive marketing. The competing capacities will be allocated to the highest bidder in the corresponding auction on the PRISMA capacity platform.
Taking grid planning aspects into account, the following competitive zones result for GUD:
- Zone: Jemgum/Nuettermoor Entry
- ENTRY UGS JEMGUM EWE (H199)
- ENTRY UGS NUETTERMOOR (H100)
- Zone: Jemgum/Nuettermoor Exit
- EXIT UGS JEMGUM EWE (H200)
- EXIT UGS NUETTERMOOR (H101)
