Reasons for tariff adjustment
The revenues of Gasunie Deutschland Transport Services GmbH will increase by 9 percent in 2014 in comparison to 2013. The increase reflect mainly the measures for the development of the Gasunie network, approved by the German regulator (Bundesnetzagentur). These measures are required to guarantee the security of supply on long term.
Furthermore the regulations by KARLA Gas lead to short term and structured bookings instead of long-term invariant bookings. This results in higher specific tariffs.
The infrastructure expansions as well as the regulations by KARLA Gas have a positive impact on the competition in the gas market. As a result, the wholesale market at the GASPOOL-Hub corresponds closely to the TTF-prices.
The new GUD tariff system provides an effective utilization of the transport grid. Furthermore the new GUD tariffs pay attention to the further decrease of the conversion fee (Konvertierungsentgelt) and generate incentives for an efficient use of L- and H-Gas capacities.
For the invoicing of exit points GUD will charge pursuant to Section 13, Paragraph 3 as well as Section 15, Paragraph 7 of the GasNEV a separate charge of 0.0014870 €ct/(kWh/h)/d.
Biogas levy 2014
The charge for biogas levy 2014 that also applies to the market area GASPOOL amounts nationwide 0.51 EUR/(kWh/h)/a.
