Brussels, 04 April 2013
The North West European Network TSOs are currently drafting their Gas Regional Investment Plan 2013 (NW GRIP 2013). It will be the second edition of this regional statement on long-term gas infrastructure development.
The outline of the report is now publicly available and open for consultation until May 3rd 2013. With the consultation responses as additional input, a final document will be drafted that will be published in October 2013. This report will also be open for consultation.
The NW GRIP 2013 will focus on future gas infrastructure projects within the region. These may have an impact on the capacity at the interconnection points within the region or on import capacity at the entry points into the region where gas is directly imported from outside the EU. Through this approach the document is to offer shippers an insight into potential new capacities.
Annie Krist, ENTSOG Board Member Coordinator of NW GRIP and CEO of Gasunie Transport Services said:
“The North West European TSOs are proud to launch this NW GRIP 2013 consultation process and invite all stakeholders to give their feedback.”
