Hannover, 03 March 2011 | Press release
As of today Gasunie Deutschland publishes comprehensive transparency data with regard to its network on the company’s website. Thus Gasunie Deutschland offers it’s costumers the chance, to collect required infrastructure information.”This is an important step in the implementation of the Third Energy Packagae and a milestone on the way towards an integrated European energy market”, states Jens Schumann, Managing Director of Gasunie Deutschland. Gasunie Deutschland publishes these data on www.gasunie.de under the heading of “Transparency Data”.
Until now Gasunie Deutschland has already published a bulk of transparency information. Reason for the comprehensive publication of transparency information is the regulation of the European Parliament and of the European Council on conditions for access to the natural gas transmission networks. This regulation should ensure shippers an effective access to natural gas transmission systems and provide a minimum guarantee of equal market access conditions in practice.
Due to the requirements of EU the data of Gasunie Deutschland should be published on English and German, will be updated regularly and are provided as downloads.
