Gasunie Deutschland Transport Services GmbH (GUD) as TSO publishes pursuant to Section 20, Paragraph 1 of the German Energy Law (EnWG) the expected tariffs for grid access for calendar year 2013. According to today’s best state of knowledge following tariffs for firm flexible allocable capacities will become effective as of 1 January 2013:

Expected Tariffs for Transport Customers and adjacent Network Operators as of 01.01.2013

Tariffs
[€ct/(kWh/h)/d]
H-Gas L-Gas
Entry Points GÜP* 0.6087 0.5605
Entry Points 0.9225 0.9412
Exit Points 0.9225 0.9412

*GÜP: cross border interconnection points

The accounted fees include a contribution of costs for the implementation and operating of capacity platforms.

The tariff for interruptible entry and exit capacities is 60 percent of the respective applicable tariff for firm flexible allocable entry and exit capacities.

Reasons for tariff adjustment
The adjustment of tariffs is mainly caused by

  • Increase of period depending bookings by shippers due to booking optimisation;
  • Significant short-term bookings at storage and power plant points.

An additional impact on the magnitude of the tariffs is caused by first effects of infrastructure expansion in line with the energy transition.

Invoicing charge
For the invoicing of exit points GUD will charge pursuant to Section 13, Paragraph 3 as well as Section 15, Paragraph 7 of the GasNEV a separate charge of 0.001485 €ct/(kWh/h)/d.

Biogas levy

The charge for biogas levy in 2013 in the market area GASPOOL is 0.75 €/(kWh/h)/a.
